I was a single mom for about 10 years until I married a man in a compatible sign (bass clef). I'm a self-employed writer. I play the cello in the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra, its rebel offshoot, the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra Cello Choir (SPOCC), the Microsoft Orchestra, and with my kids.
